St Andrew’s Anglican College Business Directory

Welcome to the St Andrew’s Anglican College Business Directory (“Directory”), operated by St Andrew's Anglican College (“the College”, “we”, “our”, or “us”).

By accessing or using this Directory, you agree to comply with these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the Directory.

Purpose of the Directory

The St Andrew’s Business Directory exists to strengthen connections within the College community by showcasing businesses connected to:

current families
Old Saints alumni
College partners and sponsors
members of the broader St Andrew’s community.

The Directory is intended to support community engagement and connection. Inclusion in the Directory does not constitute endorsement, recommendation, or accreditation by the College.

Eligibility

Businesses listed in the Directory must maintain a genuine connection to the College community.

We reserve the right to approve, decline, suspend, or remove any listing at our sole discretion, including where a business, service, or conduct is considered inconsistent with the values or reputation of the College.

Business Listings

By submitting a listing, you confirm that:

the information provided is accurate and current
you have the right to use and provide any logos, images, trademarks, or content submitted
your business complies with all relevant laws and regulations
your listing content is not false, misleading, offensive, defamatory, or unlawful.

You are responsible for ensuring your listing details remain up to date.

The College reserves the right to edit listing formatting, categories, grammar, or image sizing for consistency across the Directory.

Payments and Membership Periods

Directory listing fees, membership inclusions, and promotional periods are outlined at the time of registration.

Unless otherwise stated:

listings are valid for the advertised membership period
listing fees are non-refundable once a listing has been published.

The College reserves the right to adjust future pricing, inclusions, or membership structures.

No Endorsement

While the Directory is designed to support businesses within the St Andrew’s community, the College does not:

guarantee the quality of goods or services provided
verify all claims made by listed businesses
accept responsibility for transactions or disputes between users and businesses.

Any engagement with a listed business is entirely at the user’s own discretion and risk.

Intellectual Property

All Directory branding, design elements, content, and website materials remain the property of the College unless otherwise stated.

Businesses retain ownership of their submitted logos and business content but grant the College permission to display, reproduce, and promote submitted materials within:

the Directory
College communications
College marketing materials relating to the Business Directory.

Acceptable Use

Users must not:

misuse the Directory or website
attempt to gain unauthorised access to systems or data
upload malicious code or harmful material
use the Directory for unlawful purposes
reproduce or scrape Directory content for commercial resale or mass marketing purposes.

Third-Party Links

The Directory may contain links to third-party websites or social media pages. These are provided for convenience only.

The College is not responsible for the content, availability, or security of external websites.

Privacy

Any personal information collected through the Directory will be handled in accordance with the College’s Privacy Policy.

Businesses should ensure any information they provide is accurate and appropriate for public display.

Availability

While we aim to keep the Directory available and current, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that all information will always be error-free or up to date.

The College may suspend, update, modify, or discontinue the Directory at any time without notice.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the College is not liable for any loss, damage, cost, or claim arising from:

use of the Directory
reliance on information contained within the Directory
interactions between users and listed businesses
temporary unavailability of the website or Directory.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Continued use of the Directory following any updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Governing Law

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
